SAMANTHA'S STORY

A little about me.

 

At the age of 15 I studied GCSE Child development and went on to qualify as a nursery nurse in 1997 after completing my NNEB. This led to working in various child care settings including: Childrens homes, special needs schools and private nurseries.

 

I then went on to train in swedish body massage, reiki, and infant massage. Also completeing courses in breast feeding support, weaning, speech & language & baby sensory.

 

Through my love of children, I developed a passion for wanting all children to reach their full potential. I soon realised infant massage was one of the best ways to give children a head start in life. 

 

Whilst teaching infant massage at children's centres in Cambridgeshire & Essex, I recieved some amazing feedback about the benefits of infant massage and the difference it had made to the familes I taught. This is when Baby Kalm was born.

 

Currently I split my time between running my business and working part time for the NHS as a community nursery nurse with the health visiting team.

ABOUT MY CLASSES

Group courses run regularly and consist of:-

Five classes of 1 hour each, run over 5 consecutive weeks.

-A full body massage routine and a short routine to help with colic.

-Detailed handouts and a bottle of oil to take home with you.

-Time for questions and a chance to share experiences over a tea or coffee.
